About Me

My name is Michelle Pack. I am a mother of two great kids, both of whom made it to adulthood (yea!).

The idea for this blog came to me after a conversation with my daughter.  When she turned 16 years old and received her driver's license, she was nervous about filling the car with gas for the first time.  I have always loved writing instructions. I immediately sat down and wrote her a set of directions on how to pump gas. She saved these notes on her phone and felt confident. I later learned that she had shared these instructions with friends who were nervous about it too.

This experience made me realize the impossible task it is to know everything. We may laugh at a situation that goes horribly wrong that we feel is "common sense" but apparently isn't to someone else. We may roll our eyes when we see someone struggle. But we have all been in that situation before and it's scary.

So that's who I am: a mom who feels the need to be a mom to those who may not have listened to their own mom, may not have had a mom to listen to, or who maybe are just spacey. 😄

Whatever category you fit into, I hope you enjoy the blog.
